A Swiss company presents a collection of three, exclusively styled wooden bathtubs.

Every model comes with the promise of one-of-a-kind bathing pleasure that is sure to do the body good. These are all products of Swiss design, manufactured in Switzerland and Germany.

The company in question is Bagno Sasso, a well-known force in high-end bathroom design. For 14-plus years Bagno Sasso has supplied exclusive lounge baths to customers the world over, winning them over with a succession of novel designs built using high-grade materials.

Ocean Sailor
The “Ocean Sailor” freestanding bathtub is made of an unusual wood, Alpi Macassar. The tub features a distinct pattern that resembles a zebra with its characteristic black-and-white stripes.

Taking a bath in the “Ocean Sailor” is a highly restful experience that also provides balm for the soul.

Ocean Circle
Another model with winning elegance and unique design is the “Ocean Circle”.

This perfectly round tub comes embedded in a fine gravel surround that soaks up any overflowing water. The circular tub can also be ordered on its own, without the gravel surround.

Wave Diamond
The third model is the “Wave Diamond”, which may better be described as a freestanding, functional artwork in the form of a bathtub. The outstanding feature here is the exclusive material mix of glass and fine mahogany sourced from sustainable forests.

Mahogany by nature can be all kinds of different colours, thus lending an individual touch to any bathroom. These futuristic bathtub models do more than provide an eye-catching feature, they also offer unique bath time pleasure at the end of a hectic day.

The “Wave Diamond” design stems from a collaboration between Bagno Sasso and a highly regarded Swiss boat builder. “Ocean Circle” was a cooperative development involving Swiss entrepreneur Rolf Senti and German designer Tilo Gnausch.

The “Ocean Sailor” design was again the work of Rolf Senti, the former cycling professional and World Championship rider, visionary, and owner of Bagno Sasso AG who switched to designing unique bathtubs for a worldwide clientele.

Says Senti, “We take pride in continually redefining the bathroom environment for our customers, using top-grade materials and one-of-a-kind designs.”

Individual veneers are cut to the exact millimetre, and with the utmost precision placed onto the bathtub structure using a high-tech process borrowed from Formula 1 racing cars. Every tub bas been handmade in Switzerland or Germany, so each one is truly unique.
